PLEASE R.S.V.P as soon as possible so we can make proper arrangements for dinner. Please include how many adults and how many children and any food allergies.
Immediately following the ceremony, either walk or a trolley will take you down the street , around the corner to the lake to a Gazebo area where we will have a prayer covering for us as a couple, no matter what you believe, we ask that all attend.
Gifts; we are doing something a little different. We have a couple of gift registries which can be found on the website, however we believe that there is so much need in the world and it is our preference, that a donation  be made to one of our favorite charities or ministry. If you would rather help in another way, we are also looking at doing a mission trip later in the year as a honeymoon; perhaps you would rather give a gift amount or an IOU towards the mission trip.
Gift or no gift, please come.
Each table is going to have information about some of our favorite ministries/charities. The one that I would like to draw your attention to is called Toms Shoes. Please visit the website at  tomsshoes.com and watch the video. For every pair of shoes purchased, a pair is given to a child in a third world country who has never had shoes. All of our Groomsmen, as well as many guests including Mark will be wearing Toms Shoes. We will be doing pictures of all guests wearing the shoes and submitting the photos to Tom’s Shoes. If you would come wearing Tom’s Shoes, please do not think of buying any additional gift, it would mean so much to us to know that a child is being helped.

The rate is $115.00/night, we have a small amount of rooms blocked so book early if you like this rate,this is a decent room in a great area,  you may reserve this room by calling the above number and asking for the Kahl/Oerther,-Wedding.
There are many different hotels available and due to the busy summer months, rooms may become more expensive and difficult to find so, again, book early.

The Lake Lure Inn is where we are getting married.  We DO NOT have any rooms set aside but they do have availability. This is a great area and would be perfect to get away to a quiet area; it is about 35 minutes outside Asheville.
